How To Prioritize Products

How To Prioritize Products

Let’s say you’ve prequalified your clients and there are 3 or 4 good fits.  How do you present them?

In terms of getting your client the ideal product, here’s a starting point:

  1. What products have quicker full coverage?

  2. What’s the best price?

So that gives you an interesting question!  Let’s say there’s a Guaranteed Issue product that would cost your client $85/month.  They get 100% coverage year 3.  They’re also eligible for a day-one coverage product for $100/month.  They get coverage today.

This happens.

So, how do you present it to your client?

We’d recommend letting them know both options. However, for you, we’d recommend making note of your options based on coverage and price in that order that way you know what you’re working with.  You can use a free quoter like the one at freefexquoter.com to get the different quotes you need to prioritize the plans.

Your results should look like:

  • $90 – Day 1 Coverage Option 1
  • $100 – Day 1 Coverage Option 2
  • $120 – Graded Coverage Option 1
  • $85 – Guaranteed Issue Option 1
  • $110 – Guaranteed Issue Option 2
  • $150 – Guaranteed Issue Option 3

It’s important to balance time to full coverage and price.  Then you can sell the right product using that information at your disposal.
