My clients don’t know how to spell their medications. Is there a way to make it easier?
Best Plan Pro learns typos and new medications & typos automatically and will automatically correct any typos it finds (it’s part of our patent-pending system).
Best Plan Pro has a built in feature that will autocorrect entries in the Medication Name, Medication Use, and Condition Name fields.

The autocorrect feature kicks in when you go to fill out names of Conditions or Medications. In BestPlan Pro version 2.0, you can find the Health & Underwriting Profile towards the bottom of the form.
Click on the radio button to toggle the Health & Underwriting Profile. You will see the Health & Underwriting Wizard window:

If you are unsure about the spelling of a medication, simply type in what you think the spelling is and BPP will autocorrect it for you if the system recognizes which medication you’re trying to type. Consider the following case for the medication Xarelto.
Notice that when we type in Xarelto as Zarelto, BPP version 2.0 automatically changes the incorrect spelling of the medicine to the correct spelling and it also correctly decides that it is a medication and not a condition.
Simplifying Spelling.
We understand that there is a multitude of medical jargon that can be difficult to keep track of and trying to remember how to spell it all can be a nightmare. Best Plan Pro’s self-learning capabilities is just one feature that can alleviate the stress of memorizing all of the industry names and terms. Best Plan Pro can also help search for medications by conditions and via auto-fill for medication and condition data.

This feature kicks in automatically in the Medication Name, Medication Use, and Condition Name fields. In the add medications menu, you are prompted to input the medication name and the condition it will treat. You hopefully will never have to think about this feature. Here’s an example of what it looks like in the Medication Window.

If Best Plan Pro recognizes the typo, after clicking off of the field (or pressing TAB), the correction will occur automatically. BPP is designed to predict what medication or condition based off of previous entries. The system learns new typos over time based on user input. To submit a typo to be processed, run an analysis with the typo in there.
