How to use the Health Compass™
In Best Plan Pro, when you enter a Medication into the Health & Underwriting Wizard, a field named Prescribed to Treat appears when the system recognizes the entry as a medication. Underneath this field, there’s an option to See related impairments.
Alternatively, if you type in a Condition that the system recognizes, there’s an option to Quick Add Med(s). If you don’t necessarily know what Medications to input, you can click on Show options.
Note that in each case, there’s an option to sort the results either by Recommended or by Alphabetical Order (A-Z) with the Recommended sorting being the default option.
BPP remembers what combinations of medications and conditions have been paired up in previous analyses; this data is not tied to any personal information or agent records. If 5 medications come up for a condition with equal frequency, these will be organized in alphabetical order even if Recommended is selected for sorting the list.
