Why is there an * next to a condition?

The software guesses dates and condition names based around the medications you enter.  You need to check the software to confirm that the condition is as specific as it can be and that the dates are accurate.

Conditions added automatically from Medications are added by our patent-pending automatic condition migration system.

Asterisk Conditions appear when there's more work to do on a condition or if you should review the condition again.  This happens under particular circumstances.

A couple of examples when you would see an asterisk condition:

  • If the system suggests you should take a look at more specific options.
  • If you make edits to the medication list and an automatically generated condition might need to change

If you see a condition with an asterisk, review it before analysis to confirm accuracy.  The system will allow you to run an analysis even with asterisks on conditions.
