I’ve pressed the Clear All Data button more than once and lost what I’m working on. Â Can you add a confirmation warning to help people like me?
I use Best Plan Pro all day, is there a way to turn off the clear data verification prompt? It can be quite cumbersome to say yes to clear my search data all the time.
Both of these pieces of feedback helped us develop the Clear Data Warning and a way to disable / enable it at will.
In BestPlanPro, you can disable/enable the Clear Data Warning prompt when clearing your search data parameters. The prompt is turned on by default.
Where It Is.
In BestPlanPro Windows Edition, this feature can be toggled in Settings > Producer Settings > Warn Before Clearing Data. A check mark will be next to the option if a warning to clear data is turned on.
In BPP Online, this feature can be toggled in Settings > General Settings > Click to Not Warn Before Clearing Data. Once turned on, the option will change to ‘Click to Warn Before Clearing Data’.
What you get.
Now when you click the “Clear All Data” button, there will no longer be a prompt that appears to confirm if you want all search parameters to be cleared and the program will simply clear it. Use this setting if you no longer want to be asked if you’re sure you want to clear your data when loading or clearing search parameters. This setting is exported when you export your settings (and if you’re using the Automatic Backup plugin for BPP Online).
 Analysis Made Efficient.
This feature best serves as a less intrusive way of operating within Best Plan Pro. Turning off the warning prompt when clearing data may simplify your experience with BPP. Alternatively, you might want to keep the warning on to safeguard against data being accidentally deleted.
You can also set your Default State Coverage if you know that you’ll always be performing underwriting for clients within the same state. In doing so, the state you configure will always be selected even if you clear your data! For more information on setting up your default state within BestPlanPro, click here.
